If you’d like to continue your studies after qualifying with a bachelor’s / undergraduate degree, or study more in a particular subject, there are a range of postgraduate qualifications available from colleges and universities. Some are linked to specific professions, while others allow you to complete an original piece of research.
There are four main types of postgraduate qualifications:

- master’s degree
- doctorate
Most types of postgraduate qualification will incorporate taught and research elements.
