Certificate in Production Management (TV & Non-fiction)
This Production Management course presents the opportunity to gain and develop practical production skills in film, television and live action and to keep pace with the ever-changing technology and practices.
Building on existing experience and skills you have learned through working or studying in a creative environment, this course will provide you with a comprehensive overview of the practical management and process for creative production.
This 10-week course offers a blended delivery. Classes take place on Wednesdays from 6.15pm to 9.15pm online, with three Saturdays on campus in IADT.
This course will give you the opportunity to:
- transition from one media form to another and to learn about the different pipelines that are appropriate for specific media.
- gain and develop practical production skills specifically for industries where technologies and practices are changing all of the time.
- incorporate your skills into real projects and productions.
- build towards further study, career progression, and/or provide a new set of skills to employ within your own practice.
There are no written examinations in this course. You will be assessed on your project management, research and skills related to your own project.
The CFA supports the early and mid-career needs of creative professionals by offering credited NFQ courses / modules to people working in the creative sector. By offering learners the opportunity to skill, upskill and reskill, the CFA supports the professional growth, reach and impact of the creative and cultural sectors.
