  • to design experiences and interactions;
  • to develop systemised solutions.

The course may include a range of topics such as:
Origins of design thinking | Writing a design brief | Competitor analysis | Creative leadership, vision and values | Brainstorming and ideation | Audience/customer profiling | Customer journeys & empathy experiments | Synthesis and insights | Visualisation methodologies | Storytelling | Prototyping & iteration | Design metrics, evaluation, validation and testing.

The course is offered in IADT as part of the Creative Futures Academy (CFA) – an initiative of Ireland’s three leading Higher Education providers of cultural and creative education (IADT, NCAD and UCD), funded by the Higher Education Authority’s Human Capital Initiative.

The CFA supports the early and mid-career needs of creative professionals by offering credited NFQ courses / modules to people working in the creative sector.
