Post Graduate Courses That Award: Honours Bachelor Degree
An Honours Bachelor Degree is mostly awarded after completion of a course which is three to four years long, although students studying in fields such as architecture, dentistry or medicine can undertake longer programmes. School leavers and those with similar qualifications may enter a course of this type. There are transfer arrangements across higher education in case a student might have to change programmes, and there are several courses that run for one year which can lead to an Honours Bachelor Degree (for people who have an Ordinary Bachelor Degree). Students can study for an Honours Bachelor Degree at Institutes of Technology, with Quality and Qualifications Ireland, and at Universities.
