Introduction The IPME programme is a continuing-engineering education programme provided by the School of Electronic Engineering. On this remote access programme students use the web to access career relevant, high-level modules representing recent developments in Electronic Systems and Telecommunications Engineering. The modules on this programme are typically taken for professional development purposes, or to apply to transfer to one of our other engineering postgraduate courses. Areas covered include Image Processing and Analysis, Nanoelectronics, Photonics, Control Systems, Communications and Telecommunications Networks.
This programme is designed to enhance your knowledge, understanding and skills in Electronic Systems and Telecommunications Engineering.

General Entry Requirements This non-award programme allows applicants from diverse educational and/or employment backgrounds to access Level 8 and Level 9 modules with applications evaluated on a case by case basis. Non-EU Applications Candidates who are non-native speakers of the English language must satisfy the university of their competency in the English language. For further information on international applications click here. Additionally non-EU nationals who require a study visa to enter Ireland are ineligible to apply for part time programmes. Fees Part time EU Status Fee Part-time €824 per module

Students can take individual modules to up-skill their knowledge in Electronic and Computer Engineering, thereby giving themselves the opportunity to advance their career or pursue additional education. Credits from these modules can be used to secure and MEng in Electronic and Computer Engineering.
