Join the PSI Free Public Lecture Series for an important discussion on Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion in Education. Kicking off the Society’s 2026 series, this lecture will take the form of a panel discussion exploring the barriers that prevent many young people in Ireland from fully participating in education.
Education plays a vital role in building resilience and providing young people with the knowledge, skills, and experiences that protect against negative outcomes, including substance use and involvement with the justice system. Yet, challenges such as poverty, homelessness, disability, neurodivergence, and discrimination continue to exclude some students.
This online panel will examine these challenges, the psychological impact of exclusion, and strategies to create a more inclusive and supportive educational environment for all learners.
