The degree of Bachelor in Divinity is a higher degree awarded on the basis of examination and thesis. Students must complete an examination in eight papers and a thesis of 40,000 words within five years. Candidates study independently for the examination but may obtain advice and a bibliography on each subject from the School of Religion.
