The Irish Research Council and the Embassy of France in Ireland collaborate to offer the Ulysses Award scheme to supporting continued knowledge exchange between Irish and French researchers through appropriate forms of collaboration.

The aim of the Ulysses Award scheme is to foster new collaborations between Ireland and France-based researchers by providing seed funding for reciprocal travel visits over the course of 16 months. The scheme thus facilitates the exchange of innovative ideas and approaches across all disciplines.
