Trinity Physics Student Achieves Top Irish Score in International Astronomy Competition

The School of Physics at Trinity College Dublin has announced that Senior Fresh Physics student Samuel Regan has achieved the highest Irish score in the International Astronomy and Astrophysics Competition (IAAC) 2025.

Samuel was one of four Trinity students who represented the university in this prestigious global competition, which brings together talented young scientists from around the world to solve challenging problems in astronomy and astrophysics.

The IAAC provides a platform for students to showcase their analytical skills, deepen their understanding of cosmic phenomena, and connect with a global community of astronomy enthusiasts.
