PGR Showcase Conference 2026 - Call for Submissions

The University of Limerick Doctoral College is issuing a Call for Submissions for the 2026 Postgraduate Researcher (PGR) Showcase. 

 The PGR Showcase will be held on Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at the Kemmy Business School. This full-day event will celebrate the research of PGRs across all disciplines at UL.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS: FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026 

1. Overview

• Title: Postgraduate Researcher Showcase: Aligning Your Research to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
• Date: Wednesday, 20^th of May, 2026
• Venue: KBS (Ground Floor), Rooms KBG13, KBG14, KBG15
• Duration: Full-day event

2.Objectives

• Highlight and celebrate research of UL PGRs.
• Provide a platform for UL PGRs to present their work.
• Provide opportunities for networking and collaboration among early career researchers.

3.Keynote Address

• Speaker: Dr Martin Cuneen, Associate Professor in Data Analytics and Risk Governance, Kemmy Business School, UL
• Topic: “Artificial Intelligence in Academic Research”
• Duration: 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session.

  4.Sub-Theme Breakout Rooms (4 Rooms; 10 minutes per speaker) on a specific sub-theme related to the UN SDGs.
