Maynooth University’s 2024 Entrance Scholars Ceremony took place on Wednesday, 12 February 2025, celebrating the achievements of outstanding first-year students awarded scholarships across several categories.
This event honoured recipients of the 2024 Entrance Scholarship award, including 79 students who obtained over 575 points in their Leaving Certificate as well as the 2024 Music Scholar and two BT Young Scientist and Technology Exhibition Scholars, and the 2024 W.A. Barrett Scholars: Rares Stefan Mihai and Ingrid-Loredana Radu. The Entrance Scholars Ceremony also celebrates the recipients’ families and their inspirational teachers, guidance counsellors, and school principals who supported and encouraged them on their educational journey to Maynooth University.
