The Marketing Institute, the professional body for Ireland’s marketing community, in partnership with TU Dublin has announced the launch of its 2021 postgraduate programmes. The partnership consists of two separate streams – an MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Management & Marketing and both courses have individual CPD and Executive Education programmes for those who wish to focus on specific areas including finance, analytics and strategic digital marketing.

David Field CEO of the MII said: “The MII’s purpose has been to educate, enable and empower marketers at all stages of their career to have the foresight, insight and expertise to become transformational leaders, drive business performance and contribute to the wellbeing of the economy and society. The Marketing Institute and TU Dublin partnership ensures the optimal learning experience for students, with industry access and networking opportunities through MII, and academic robustness from TU Dublin, in essence the pracademic approach.

As part of the MII’s commitment to advancing the marketing profession in Ireland we will also be funding scholarships for both programmes in 2021 and the scholarship application process will begin on March 1st. Since 2013, we have funded just under €120,000 in scholarships to those we believe have the potential to add to advance the practice of marketing in Ireland. Now more than ever, we are proud to continue these scholarships as we believe that marketing will play a key role as Ireland navigates a post-Brexit and post-COVID landscape.

TU Dublin, formerly DIT, is Ireland’s first technological university where students learn in a practice-focused environment with an emphasis on industry, enterprise and innovation. The MSc in Digital Marketing & Analytics (NFQ Level 9) has been designed for mid to senior marketing professionals looking to empower themselves and understand how to utilise and leverage new technologies, which are synonymous with business growth and development. This programme promises to equip marketing professionals with the understanding, knowledge and know-how around the ever-changing digital landscape which has the power to transform business success.

The Postgraduate Diploma in Management & Marketing is an accelerator programme for non-business graduates and focuses on marketing practice and industry know-how. The modules have been developed around the latest marketing and business research, theory and concepts, with an emphasis on usability across the marketing profession. The qualification covers the fundamentals of business, marketing, management, finance and economics, bringing students to a Level 9 NFQ in 12 months.
