The Government of Ireland Postgraduate Scholarship Programme, funded by the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and managed by Research Ireland, supports Master’s and PhD research across all disciplines.
Awards are open to new entrants or students in the first year of their degree.
The scholarship provides up to €34,000 per year, including a stipend of €25,000, a fee contribution of up to €5,750 (with an additional €4,000 available for non-EU nationals), and €3,250 for research costs. Academic supervisors may act as Primary Supervisor for one applicant.
