Online application open on 15th October 2021 for George Moore Scholars 2022 Scholarships.

The George Moore Scholars, a programme of The Ireland Funds, will support up to 300 outstanding students to undertake postgraduate study, mainly in the USA, in the period 2020-30.

The Scholarships will be high-value, multi-annual awards (1-2 years depending on the programme of study).

Students may apply for either a research or a taught Master’s degrees.

The George Moore Scholars will be selected from the higher education institutions on the island of Ireland.

The Scholarships are open to outstanding students in all academic disciplines who expect to graduate from their primary degree in 2022 or who graduated from their primary degree in 2021. A limited number of Early Career Scholarships are available to candidates who have graduated in the last five years (2017-22) and who required specific work experience in order to apply for their Master’s programme, e.g. for those applying to public policy or health policy programmes.

Applicants who are awarded a George Moore Scholarship may combine it with other sources of support or scholarship (e.g. a Fulbright Student Award).

University of Ulster

Trinity College Dublin, the University of Dublin

Technological University Dublin

Munster Technological University (Jan 2021)

The Institute of Art, Design and Technology (IADT)

The National College of Art and Design (NCAD)
