DCU's Institute of Education has announced a major new initiative to celebrate the 150th anniversary of teacher education at St Patrick's College in Drumcondra. The Institute is offering six new PhD scholarships, with three available on a full-time basis and three on a part-time basis.
These scholarships are designed to support and nurture the next generation of researchers in the field of teacher education. The university is inviting applications from a wide range of educators, including teachers, early childhood practitioners, and professionals in the adult and community sectors, as well as academic staff in further and higher education.
Successful candidates will benefit from a robust support system, including mentorship from a supervisory panel, graduate training, and opportunities to interact with a vibrant community of researchers. This initiative reflects DCU's commitment to advancing educational research and fostering a new wave of academic talent.
