A celebration of the life of Anne Frank in word, music and song will be performed by The CIT Cork School of Music Youth Theatre.  Adapted for the stage and directed by Peadar Donohoe (The Shakespeare Sessions, Bullying Prevention Session, Choices), this event boasts an all-female cast performing selections from The Diary of Anne Frank. Each young woman interprets Anne in her own way as the ensemble connects with the timeless themes of rebellion, the inward versus the outward self and the search for meaning.

About Anne Frank

Anne Frank’s story is remarkable, both historically and as an example of an emerging young writer’s personal experience. It is the coming together of these two – the individual experience and the universal – that gives Anne’s story its power. The trials and tribulations of growing up still resonate with teens today and, at the same time, it stands as powerful testament to the horrors of the Holocaust.
