The National University of Ireland (NUI) offers grants of up to €3,000 to support the publication of scholarly research by current and retired academic staff, post-doctoral fellows, and early career academics (ECAs) from NUI member institutions.
Designed to encourage and facilitate high-quality academic output, this funding is available for a broad range of publications—including monographs, edited collections, journal articles, and audio-visual works.
Applications for the grant are reviewed twice annually, in June and December, by the NUI Publications Committee. Recommendations from the committee are then submitted for approval by the NUI Senate.
