Postgraduate courses in Bioengineering

The field of Bioengineering uses the engineering principles of design as well as analysis to research and manipulate biological systems. Bioengineers would be directly responsible for maintaining and working with biomedical technologies. This could include working with bacteria, plant life, human or animal tissue, as well as understanding the technology that works alongside them. If you study in this field, you will be trained in both biology and engineering. You might study electrical and mechanical engineering, computer science, materials science, or chemistry. A postgraduate qualification in this area is the perfect way to get into academia, medicine and a wide variety of highly-profitable industries.
