The Faculty of STEM at Trinity College Dublin will host the inaugural lecture of Professor Karen Wiltshire on Wednesday, 21st May 2025 at 5:45pm in Room LB04, Lloyd Institute, on the university’s main campus.
Titled "A Walk on the Bright Side: A Climate Scientist’s Reflections on a Life and Career with Islands, Expeditions, and the Wonder of It All," the lecture will offer a personal and professional perspective on Professor Wiltshire’s distinguished career in climate science, highlighting her work across diverse ecosystems and international expeditions.
The event is free and open to Trinity staff, students, and members of the public. Attendees will be treated to a wine reception and light refreshments following the lecture.
