The MSW is a two year full-time, post-graduate social work degree programme (NFQ Level 9). It is accredited by the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (CORU) and graduates are eligible to apply for registration as professionally qualified social workers. The MSW programme builds on a tradition of excellence in social work education and research at the School of Social Work and Social Policy, Trinity College dating back to 1934.
As the only higher education provider to have just secured Higher Education Authority funding targeted at capacity building in social work education, Trinity College Dublin announce exciting changes to entry criteria. Applicants can gain entry with a 2.2 level 8 degree in the social sciences and 420 hours relevant practice experience which can be comprised of voluntary and placement experience.
