Led by Sarah Strange PgDip in Management & Marketing Programme Manager and Sean O’Reilly Assistant Head of School in Accounting and Finance at TU Dublin, this open lecture will explore the module of Finance and give you an overview of the PgDip in Management and Marketing focusing in on the Consultancy Project.

Joining Sarah & Sean on the night, Caoimhe Leppard, current MSc student of the Management and Marketing programme and graduate of the PgDip programme to discuss the management consulting project. The management consulting projects is the capstone of the programme, whereby students work with real organisations on real management and marketing issues. Caoimhe will outline her experience of the management consulting project and how it further brings to life the academic theories and knowledge acquired throughout programme.

Seán is a Chartered Accountant having trained in PwC and now lectures on the FAE Programme for Chartered Accountants Ireland.

Seán is currently embarking on a PhD in Dublin City University specialising in Entrepreneurial Finance. He has published a number of academic case studies in small business finance using real-life examples of Irish companies. Seán lectures on the MII TU Dublin Postgraduate Diploma in Management and Marketing.

Sarah is currently the Program Manager in TU Dublin for the PgDip & MSc in Management Marketing.

While Sarah lectures both undergrand and postgradute student, she is undertaking her PHD research surrounding  Consumer Culture “New Domesticity: Constructing Female identity in a postfeminist consumer culture”
