Business - International
The philosophy underlying this MSc in International Business is to focus on providing a rigorous business education for high calibre graduates to prepare them for lifelong careers in international business. It is intended that students will have already undertaken their academic formation in a variety of business disciplines and that this course will both broaden and deepen their intellectual capacity in the theme of international business. Each element of the programme is designed to act as a building block towards further academic development.

Entry Requirements | Applicants with an Honours Bachelor Degree in Business (2.1 or higher) or equivalent will be considered first. Any places that may then be remaining will be allotted to suitable applicants with an Honours Degree in Business, overall 2.2 grade Equivalent professional qualification (e.g. ACCA, CIMA) will also be considered. |
Carear Path | The target audience for this pre-experience and postgraduate qualification is primarily graduate students who wish to build on their existing learning and have an aspiration to reach a senior management position in an international business. We envisage that graduates of the course are likely to be attracted into a diverse range of International Business environments, including international markets management, international management, international marketing, international operations management, enterprise management, general management, cross cultural management, managing subsidiaries, cross cultural product and brand management and international finance and economics roles. There is also a range of opportunities in the public sector; analytical and promotional roles would be available to the participants in enterprise/industrial agencies and in the educational sector. The career path chosen by the participant will depend on the graduate's background and the topic chosen for the dissertation. |
