About Us | Our Postgraduate Courses |
Founded in 1898, the Institute of Bankers in Ireland is a recognised college of University College Dublin (UCD) and the professional education body for banking and financial service practitioners. Our programmes are primarily aimed at students who work - or who aspire to work - in banking and financial services, therefore all our programmes are part-time, student-centred and quality driven.
A ‘not for profit’ organisation, the Institute is dedicated to the service of its 32,000 members. All of the Institute’s programmes are offered through the School of Professional Finance, and members who successfully complete a programme receive their academic award from UCD.
The Institute–UCD alliance allows the School of Professional Finance to draw on the resources and expertise of both institutions. The School also works with partner institutes, industry bodies and regulators to develop programmes of the highest quality and relevance which link our programmes to the workplace.
Programmes are of the highest international standard, enriched by continuing research and development.
We are currently accepting registrations for the following postgraduate programmes:
• Graduate Diploma in Financial Planning
• Graduate Diploma in Financial Services
• Professional Diploma in Governance and Risk
• Professional Diploma in Credit Risk Management
• Graduate Diploma in Green Energy Management & Finance
