  About Us

The Institute of Technology Blanchardstown (ITB) was established in 1999 and offers courses at Higher Certificate, Ordinary Degree, Honours Degree, Masters and PhD levels. Courses are offered on a full-time, part-time, work-based and online basis

Our mission at ITB is to enhance educational opportunity and access. We want to make a significant contribution to the ongoing prosperity and economic development in the immediate locality and the Kildare, Fingal and Meath areas. The ITB campus is on the M50 Corridor, and so our catchment area encompasses Blanchardstown and the neighbouring suburbs of North West Dublin as well as the counties of Fingal, Meath and Kildare. These are areas with a diverse range of communities and academic activity. Some of Ireland’s traditionally finest agricultural and horticultural lands are here. World leaders in the IT and pharmaceutical sectors have become established parts of the economic community, together with a vibrant service sector in retail, logistics and air transport.
