Motorway service station deal to create 500 jobs
Around 500 jobs are expected to be created over the next year as part of a scheme to build motorway service stations on the M1 and M4.<br /><br />The positions - mostly in construction - will come about following the signing of a deal between the National Roads Authority and the Superstop consortium.<br /><br />The agreement will see motorway service areas being built along the M1 and M4 on sites at Castlebellingham in Co Louth, Lusk in north Dublin and Enfield on the Kildare-Meath border.<br /><br />The public-private partnership will cost more than €100m.
