Dunboyne concrete and paving plant to support 170 jobs

A leading concrete firm says it eventually plans to have 170 people working at a new facility that is being officially opened in Co Meath today.<br /><br />The Kilsaran Group has invested €30m in the Dunboyne plant, which includes a factory, showrooms and landscaped gardens.<br /><br />The company is branching out into paving following a decline in its traditional construction-related business.<br /><br />The new investment has saved 60 jobs within the group and another 60 workers have also been hired to work at the Dunboyne facility.<br /><br />Kilsaran says it also plans to hire a further 50 employees at the plant over the next 12 to 18 months.
